Building News
Construction progress is currently delayed due to events beyond the control of the Library. A new construction contract is currently being implemented to complete the work of the original construction contract. It is anticipated that construction will resume in January, with completion in the summer. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience to the public. We look forward to re-opening the library building this summer and providing the public with a much improved venue for their library experience and enjoyment.
Click here to view photos of the construction so far. Also still at that link : architects' renderings of what the outside of the building will look like when the project is finished.
We've Moved!
The Library is now open at our temporary location, 3232 S. Brentwood Blvd. We will be here until the remodelling of the Lockwood location is completed, sometime in 2012.
