Summer Reading 2014

Welcome to the Webster Groves Public Library's Summer Reading Programs for 2014! This year for the first time, the Library will be conducting its Summer Reading sign-ups online. This will allow our participants to sign up and track their progress from the comfort of their own home computers. To get started, click the banner below for the program you wish to take part in and follow the instructions at the site.

Important note about family registrations : It is possible to register multiple children and teens under a single card number. This is designed to make logging a family's progress easier without having to remember everyone's individual card numbers. If you are a parent who wishes to do this and you plan to participate in the adult Summer Reading Program, you must register yourself for that program first. Then, while logged in, use the "Add Member" button to add your children. If you use your own card number to register a child first, you will not be able to use that number to register yourself. Also note that all participants in the adult Summer Reading Program must register individually.

Summer Reading for Adults - Renew Yourself at the Library

The adult program is for library card holders from age 17 and up. To be eligible for prizes, participants must read and log at least five books or audiobooks. Adults who finish will receive participation prizes and be entered in a drawing for larger prizes, including a Nook HD 7 Tablet. Participants may also enter the photo contest by sending in a photo of themselves, a project they did, and the library book they used to help them do the project (i.e. photo of participant with plate of cookies and cookbook). Photo contest participants will be entered in a separate drawing for a Nook HD 7 Tablet.

If you have any questions, please contact the Library at 314.961.3784 or dladd@wgpl.org.
